Reflection

Having only three months to develop the overall game was definitely a challenge, and pushed my production skills quite a bit. All of the team members were extremely motivated to make a fantastic game in the hopes that it would be chosen to be the game to continue for the semesters that followed.

  • I had to manage an unbalanced skillset of team members, with most members being more on the art side than the development side. This required us to think strategically about the type of game we were making to ensure the coding resources could be dealt with by our limited team.
  • This was an extremely high-pressure and fast-paced project, with little time for breathing room, from ideation to execution. I worked to develop review processes and pipelines to ensure that despite the crunch that the team was under, we could work swiftly and efficiently.
